The Detroit Institute of Arts
The Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) is an extensive art collection in midtown Detroit. The museum consists of more than 100 galleries, which cover a space of over 650,000 square feet. The collection boasts over 60,000 works of art cumulatively valued at over one billion dollars. Located in the Cultural Center Historic District, the DIA is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
